Kids & Physical Activity

A typical American child spends 4-5 hours per day watching TV, playing video games, or using the computer. Almost 1 in 4 children do not participate in ANY free-time physical activity.

Is Wii As Good as the Real Thing?

A study at the University of Wisconsin (La Crosse) found playing Wii sports is better than sitting around. However, participating in the actual sport will burn more calories and provide better strength and cardiovascular benefits.
